Lost Trail Powder Mountain..............

When you visit  Lost Trail Powder Mountain you will enjoy the beauty and uncrowded slopes of the Rocky Mountain's hidden jewel. Experience affordable family skiing from the top of the Continental Divide. With unbelievable powder at unbelievably low prices a full day lift ticket is only $31.00 for Adults and $15.00 for children.  When I and my family started ski at Lost Trail in 1988 lift passes where much lower and was only a 2 hour drive from where we lived in Idaho.  The staff there is very friendly. professional and treat you like family.  Most of there skiers are from the surrounding area of Idaho and Montana, being located on the Idaho-Montana border between Salmon, Idaho and Darby, Montana.

The slopes are well groomed, they have runs for everyone from the beginner to the expert, with some good powder for fun. They have ski chairs 1 & 2 Thursday thru Sunday and chairs 3 & 4 on Saturday and Sunday and holidays (open once they have received enough snow in this area.)

They are an excellent family facility that has been helping folks enjoy themselves for over 60 years, from the brown baggers to the eating facilties in the lodge and their friendly staff.
So I recommend that you consider making Lost Tral Powder Mountain a winter vacation destination for your family..........to find out more go to www.losttrail.com

The resort is British Columbia’s second largest ski resort and offers world-class restaurants and full ski-in, ski-out access, but still at an affordable price. Big White’s unhurried, unpretentious and friendly ambiance will make your stay on the mountain unforgettable.

When you visit Big White you’ll find out what real snow is all about. Big White is blessed by over 24 feet of 100% natural champagne powder per year. It’s the sort of snow that makes average skiers and boarders look like real heroes.
The comfortable daytime temperatures average 3 C (27F), is cold enough to keep the snow light and fluffy, yet perfect for skiing, riding, and cross country skiing and winter activities.

Long known as Canada’s affordable choice for great ski vacations, we stack up against the best. At Big White Ski Resort you can expect simply the best for less.

Big White Ski Resort has been awarded “Best Weather” by Ski Canada Magazine. The average temperature is only -6 C (21F). The mild temperatures combined with abundant snowfalls provide endless days of sunshine and fresh lines.
